About Cavoeiro

Carvoeiro is a great place to discover in the Algarve. Being located so central on the coastline. If you like golf, surfing, windsurfing, tennis and watersports, all is to be found close by which makes the place very popular all year round. Not to forget the beautiful area of Serra de Monchique about 20km to the north, where you can get an unforgettable mountain biking experience.

There are thousands of unbelievable beaches of which some are even pretty much undiscovered and only accessible by boat. If you like fresh fish and seafood, here you are right at home with an infinite number of great restaurants all along the coast.

You can reach Carvoeiro in about 45 minutes by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available nearby the airport.

By train it will take about 2 to 3 hours. The best way to travel the Algarvarian coast is by boat or car. If you really want to explore the area , a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier as public transport is limited but will also get you around.

In Carvoeiro you don't need any special transportation. You can easily walk through the village.

Activities / region

The sea and the shops are within walking distance of the apartment, which is an added value, especially if you come on holiday with children. You can walk around carefree and enjoy a number of culinary restaurants for every budget.

For the active, Carvoeiro is certainly a central place in the Algarve to organize various activities such as walks along the beaches and cliffs, surfing, paddling, kayaking, water skiing, skydiving, visits to different water parks or for a quieter holiday you also have many quiet beaches and beautiful nature. A visit to the various Caves is also recommended.
